KHFC Oktoberfest: Three days explained

Your guide to the three-day event…

As you will know by now, Oktoberfest is almost upon us! The fantastic three-day event, being held at Aggborough, begins on Friday, 27th October.

Here’s a run-down of the what the weekend has to offer:

Friday: “Oktoberfest” Traditional German Oktoberfest with oompah band “Bierkeller Schunklers” doors open 6:00pm

Saturday: “Harriersween” Halloween Party with Dharma Bums and Halloween disco doors for halloween party open 6:00pm but the bar and beers will be available all day.

Sunday: “Harriers Sunday Chill” Sunday lunches and beer served from midday bands starting at 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Doors close at 10pm.

Guests will be able to enjoy a wide range of local real ales, craft, live music, cocktails and contemporary German street food. In addition to Bierkeller Schunklers, there will be a brilliant variety of live music across the weekend from local bands including Dharma Bums; Balaban, Mistrusted, Bald Illegals, as well as a live DJ each night.

Event management specialists Eventology will be providing authentic German street food each day including schnitzels; currywurst, bratwurst, German gnocchi, pancrepes and a range of themed cocktails.

Kelly Perks-Bevington, managing director and event organiser, said “We were thrilled with the success of the event last year and are excited to host the event again this year.

“The event will be three days long and will include a lots of great live music, as well as a wide range of beers from local breweries.

“The weekend will take place in a heated marquee on site at Aggborough and tickets are now available on a first come first served basis due to the regulations on capacity.

“We received lots of amazing feedback from our guests last year, and we hope to create many more great memories this year!”

Tickets are available and cost £5.00 per day, and includes a half pint from an array of selected ales.
