Horsfall features for England

How did our own Fraser Horsfall get on while on England C duty?

FRASER Horsfall started for England C in their match against Republic of Ireland Amateurs on Sunday.

The defender was one of just a handful of players from Step 2 of non league to feature for the Three Lions – Horsfall’s second appearance in succession for the team.

While a memorable experience all round, the result didn’t go the way of England in the end – two goals late on in the day helped the hosts to a 4-2 win, despite strikes from Dagenham’s Luke Pennell and Tom Walker of Salford City.

Nonetheless, congratulations to Fraser and all of those turning out for their country.
