HARRIERS return to Aggborough in search of victory against Alfreton Town on Saturday.

The away side head into the game on good form, picking up three wins on the trot.

Both sides sit within the top half of National League North, and Bank Holiday Monday saw Harriers claim a dramatic 5-3 victory against Kettering Town.

New signing Ollie Shenton on Aggborough move ahead of Alfreton:

"I spoke to Russ Penn - who I played with at Wrexham - and I think this is where I can come and get games, and enjoy my football.

"For young lads, U23s football is good to a point but then you have to go and toughen up.

"It needs to actually mean something on a Saturday after a game, and I'm looking forward to coming here and doing that.

"The games are coming thick and fast and that's what you need as a young player".

Team news

Declan Weeks is likely to remain out after sustaining  a groin injury against Chester.

Tom Palmer returned to the match day squad on Bank Holiday Monday having overcome a head injury.

Match programme

Saturday's programme features a chat with Cliff Moyo, who looks back to a crazy Bank Holiday Monday 5-3 victory against Kettering Town and more.

The issue will be on sale for £3 in and around the ground, and also features plenty of reports, photos, opinions and stats.

Do I know you?

Alfreton's current top scorer Amari Morgan-Smith is well accustomed to Aggborough, spending two spells here during 2013 and 2014.

Current Harriers Richard Peniket and Cliff Moyo have both previously played for the Impact Arena outfit, and Tom Shaw, Dan Bradley, Joe Ironside, James Baxendale and Ed Wagner have all previously had spells with both clubs.

Head-to-Head

Harriers first faced Alfreton in 2011, and the two sides have since become familiar opponents - Saturday's fixture will be the 16th meeting.

Some of those meetings have been particularly memorable - 3-3 draws occurring at The Impact Arena in the 16/17 and 18/19 seasons, the former seeing Harriers clawing their way back into the game after trailing 3-0 at half time.

Match coverage

Team news will appear here (see the line-ups tab), in the news section of the website and on social media from around 3:00pm.

Follow the whole game with live updates on social media and with match stats here (see the match stats tab), with a full report and post-match reaction following after the final whistle.

Buy Tickets

Buy tickets online - but don't worry, you can still pay cash on the turnstile once online sales end.
