THIS weekend for the home game with Blyth Spartans, we’re pleased to have with us FA Cup hero Jon Purdie as he signs copies of his new book, Purds, Booze and Footy.
The former Wolves and Cheltenham winger needs little re-introduction to many Reds fans; memorably netted for us in the iconic victory over Birmingham City in 1994.
It was part of a special few years for the player who’d started his career with Arsenal before moving on to Wolves. He tells all in this new career retrospective, with the man himself signing copies in the Club Shop and taking part in an Aggborough Suite Q&A.
