Murray bags new man Walker

A burst of energy into the Harriers side…

ADAM Murray has given a pace and power boost to his side with the acquisition of versatile defender George Walker.

Walker is the third new addition to Adam Murray’s squad, following the signings of Pierce Bird and Jack Clarke last week.

21-year-old Walker arrives at Aggborough having spent last season with Hastings United in the Isthmian League Premier Division, where he established himself as an ever-present, making 43 appearances.

Though Hastings struggled during the term, Walker was arguably their standout performer, blessed with tremendous pace and energy. Predominantly a right-sider, the player’s versatility means he can play on either flank.

George previously progressed through the youth ranks at Millwall, where he was a mainstay in their U21s side prior to his switch to Hastings.

He becomes a member of the Harriers squad subject to League and FA approval.
