Monica appointed to Albion Women Board

Everyone at Kidderminster Harriers would like to congratulate Monica Shafaq on her appointment to the board of West Bromwich Albion Women.

Monica is a Non Executive Director here at Harriers and CEO of  The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, and recently expanded her varied range of roles to incorporate the position with Albion Women, which will be with a focus on wellbeing.

A statement from Albion Women said that the appointment of an eight-strong Board, including Monica, would “help to guide the Club into a new era of ambition, shaping the entire programme for a new and progressive culture.”

At Aggborough, since her appointment earlier this year, Monica has been working with the Harriers board on a number of projects, helping develop the Club’s relationships with key parties as well as its work in diversity and inclusion in the local community.

Monica herself added: “Women’s football plays a bigger part in the game than it ever has, but there is still plenty more to do be done, so it is fantastic to be on the Board of Albion Women.

“I look forward to supporting and working with great people there, just as I’m been able to do here at Kidderminster Harriers where we’re making real progress in a number of important areas.”
