Harriers have tied up their second new signing of the summer with the arrival of the vastly experienced Mark Carrington to Aggborough.
At home in the heart of midfield but also more than comfortable across the back line, Carrington will also bring versatility to the Harriers squad.
He comes to Worcestershire for a fresh start after leaving Wrexham. He’d made almost 250 appearances there, becoming a fans’ favourite during an eight-year spell at the Racecourse Ground.
The 34-year-old has EFL experience with Crewe, MK Dons and Bury, and also spent time in the Scottish top flight with Hamilton. He’s signed a one-year deal at Aggborough, subject to International Clearance.
“I’ve played with Carra at Wrexham and he’s someone I know will bring a lot to the group – he’s a great character and he’ll fit right in with the fantastic blend we already have.
“I know how hungry he is to come here and do well and that’s the type of desire we’ve worked to have all around the club.”
