Need-to-knows: Home pre-season

Useful information ahead of our home pre-season friendly matches…

HARRIERS will be back at Aggborough for the first time this season as they begin their home friendlies with a test against a young Liverpool XI on Friday night (22nd).

A squad of Academy players from Anfield will make the trip to Worcestershire for a highly anticipated occasion that promises to be well-attended.

That’s followed next Tuesday, 26th,  by a fixture against a Manchester United XI as the preparations for a new National League North season ramp up for Russ Penn’s men.

Whether this is your first trip to Aggborough or even if you’re a regular, we’ve got some handy advice for anyone coming along on Tuesday night.

KICK OFF

Kick off on Friday night for the Liverpool fixture is at 7pm – the tie against Manchester United next week begins at the same time.

TICKETS

Tickets for both friendly matches are on sale now via our online ticketing platform. It is quick and easy to purchase as both a home and away fan, and prices are £15 adults, £10 Concessions (O65s, Students, Young Adults) and £5 U16s in all areas.

Order online and you’ll be sent an e-ticket that you can scan at the turnstiles for quick and easy entry.

Can’t buy online? You can do so via phone on 01562 823 931 during office hours or by visiting the Aggborough Ticket Office (card payments only).

CASHLESS STADIUM

Harriers can confirm that all food outlets at Aggborough, as well as all sales points including the Ticket Office and match programmes and Harriers Arms, will be cashless for 2022/23.

Much of the stadium was already cashless during last season and we look forward to expanding this further to help improve the overall enjoyment and efficiency of fans’ experience at Aggborough.

NEW CATERING

As we announced recently, AC Event Catering will be our new caterers in and around Aggborough this season and will keep you well fed throughout our matches.

MATCH DAY PROGRAMME

A special pre-season programme has been produced to cover both Liverpool and Manchester United fixtures, featuring both opposition teams, a run down of our summer signings, interviews, the summer news from National League North and more.

You can buy this at the stadium, or buy your copy (for free postage only, not collection) online now.

COMMEMORATIVE KIT

For the home friendly fixtures, Harriers will sport a specially adapted version of their 2022/23 training kit, in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The match-worn kits will later be signed and auctioned to raise money for the life-saving charity that receives no Government funding yet needs to raise £10 million per year to sustain its services that covers six Midlands counties.

The new playing shirts for 2022/23 will be launched very soon ahead of the commencement of our league campaign.

SEASON TICKETS

Well in advance of 900 Harriers fans have snapped up Season Tickets for 2022/23 as the club chases an ambitious target of 1,000 for the campaign, with the support of Adam Hewitt Ltd who have pledged to give £1,000 to one lucky Season Ticket holder.

We thank those fans for their support, but need to clarify that this season’s tickets are NOT available for collection at our friendly matches.

We do expect these to be available towards the end of next week.
