HARRIERS and AFC Telford played out a goalless draw in the final pre-season friendly of the summer.
In another very quiet first half for goalmouth action, it was Ashley Hemmings who had the closest two Harriers chances. With just under half an hour gone, he took a ball own and shot wide, before moving into space with eight minutes left until the break and letting fly from distance, Brandon Hall turning the effort wide.
At the other end, the best Bucks chance came on the stroke of half time as Walker lashed at the ball from six yards, firing over with just Tom Palmer to beat.
Jack Lambert fired a 56th minute free kick over the bar as Harriers went close after the restart, Telford edging closer soon after as Palmer beat away an angled drive from Dinanga.
With just under 20 left, Palmer was alert again with an even better save to keep out a Gibson header after the Bucks man rose in the area to meet a cross.
In the final stages, Ethan Freemantle struck over when trying to catch out Brandon Hall in goal after he’d come off his line, while Pendley at the other end fired high and over when well placed at a free kick routine.
The next one is the big one – our return to National League football on 5th August as we entertain Woking at Aggborough.
