ANDY WHING’S U23 side will be in the thick of the action this week with two friendly matches.
Harriers will visit Bristol Rovers on Tuesday morning before making the trip to face Notts County on Friday.
It will be a great chance for the new boss to run the rule over his squad.
It comes after there was another big boost for the U23s this past weekend with defender Cameron Howkins featuring on the bench for the first team in the win over Chester at Aggborough.
Howkins – whose brother played for Harriers on loan a couple of seasons ago – was among the substitutes; the second player of the squad to do so this season following Owen Osborne’s inclusion at Bradford Park Avenue.
