A look to Tuesday night….

HARRIERS head to Brackley Town on Tuesday night looking to continue their good form against one of the division’s best sides.
Brackley have been perennial promotion challengers in this division and have been there or there abouts each season for many a year, this time around proving no exception whatsoever.
The Saints, like Harriers, have topped the division earlier this season but now sit in second place ahead of Tuesday’s encounter.
While Phil Brown’s men were victors over Needham Market on Saturday, Brackley were edging out Radcliffe on their travels, having been one of the division’s in-form sides.
Between early February and a surprise defeat to Buxton earlier this month, they won five league games in succession, powering past the likes of Rushall and Darlington in the process.
Now, says the boss, won’t be a time for either side to worry about weary legs or a hectic schedule.
“We’re fighting for the same cause and that comes down to people’s mentality, individually and collectively,” he commented.
“We can’t afford to rest players and we’ll be at our strongest. Hopefully, we’ll give them a game as we’ll bring our A-Game to the party.
“It’s one I’m looking forward to. I always like the big games; I always like the games that have a bit of pressure on them.. it’s all bottle because you find out what your changing room’s all about.
“I think I’ve got a good changing room and, at this moment in time, the changing room’s bursting with energy, breathing life into me, into Kidderminster Harriers, into themselves and into performances.
“Hopefully that continues on Tuesday.”
Harriers, meanwhile, were boosted by the return of striker Ben Beresford to fitness on Saturday.
He featured as a substitute against Needham Market and will be a welcome addition to the ranks.
Kick off on Tuesday night at Brackley is at 7:45pm.
Away travel is available from Harriers at the time of writing but is selling well, while supporters are reminded match day prices rise by £2 compared to tickets purchased in advance from the Brackley website.
The game will be screened live at The Harriers Arms for those unable to make it to St James’ Park.
