GOOD luck to Harriers who challenge for the WFA Women’s Sunday Cup this weekend!
As part of a potential league and cup double, Andy Fisher’s outfit will travel to Claines Lane, Worcester, to meet Worcester City in the competition Final.
Kick off is at 1:30pm on Sunday (27th) with admission £5 adults and £3 concessions for those wishing to attend.
Meanwhile, the race to the title in the WMRWFL Premier continues to take twists and turns with Harriers out of action.
Having picked up an important 1-0 win at Coventry Sphinx on April 6th to banish the memory of the single-goal reverse against title rivals Lye, a ‘free’ weekend saw the Reds slip back to second by virtue of Lye’s 3-0 win over Port Vale.
That moved Lye back into top spot, albeit with a game more played, a lead they could stretch further with victory over Shrewsbury Town on Sunday while Harriers are in Cup action.
Nevertheless, the Reds know that they can lift the title by claiming victory in the remaining matches.
The Cup aside, they travel to Burton Albion on 5th May before home games against Shifnal and Knowle to close out the season.
For the men and the women, it could be going down to the very wire!
