A look to Saturday’s final day….

HARRIERS will take their quest for an immediate return to the National League to Southport on Saturday.
One of the Reds, Brackley or Scunthorpe are guaranteed to secure promotion at the weekend s the final day of the National League North season arrives.
By virtue of a significant goal difference, Harriers know that three points on the day at Southport will see them lift the Trophy, but that far from makes it an easy task.
Going to-to-toe at the Big Help Stadium will be two teams who know each other exceptionally well – this will be the 45th meeting between the two in various leagues and cups since the 1980s.
The most compelling stat is perhaps that none of the previous 44 clashes have yielded a competitive goalless draw, right up to this season’s reverse fixture that saw Harriers come out on top.
Harriers were also 3-1 winners on their last trip to Southport but, in the meeting prior to that, Southport picked up a 2-0 win. The Port go into the weekend knowing they are safe from any last-day relegation drama having already long secured their status in the division.
That Step 2 status came at a cost – boss Jim Bentley was dismissed a month ago, but the team have pieced a run of just one defeat in five, three of those games producing clean sheets, too.
Boss Phil Brown and Captain Amari Morgan-Smith were well aware of the importance of digging in to get what is an imperative result.
Their pre-match interviews, including team news, thoughts on the win over Hereford and the weekend trip are available to view below now.
At the time of writing, very limited away travel places remain for the game, while match tickets can still be purchased from Southport’s website.
Supporters arriving at Aggborough to board club away travel are asked to park at Stadium Close, as the South Stand car park and front car park in front of the Ticket Office and Club Shop are unavailable.
We urge all fans to review the details provided regarding transport, ticketing and safety and to enjoy Saturday’s occasion responsibly.
Kick off on Saturday is at 3:00pm.
SUPPORTER CONDUCT
We would like to reinforce our message on supporter conduct, none more so than before Saturday’s game.
Southport have confirmed to us that any supporters currently subject to a banning order from Aggborough Stadium will not be welcome at their stadium at the weekend and should not attempt to purchase a ticket and/or enter on the day as they will be denied entry.
Harriers again strongly supports The National League and Football Association in delivering their antisocial conduct message.
Please review the following information before visiting Aggborough or following the team on the road, and remember that your entry into Aggborough Stadium, or any other venue, is subject to the acceptance of the National League’s Ground regulations and adherence to the Smoke No Joke policy. Both documents are clearly visible and available on entry turnstiles but are also available for download below.
Specifically, we would like to remind supporters that the club will not tolerate supporter misconduct of any kind. This includes but is not limited to:
- Discriminatory behaviour. This means conduct or language that is aggravated by ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, faith, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or disability.
- Entering the field of play or its immediate surrounding area without permission
- The throwing of missiles towards the pitch, technical area or dugout
- The possession or use of pyrotechnics such as flares or smoke bombs
Please support Kidderminster Harriers responsibility. Should you be concerned by any of the above conduct you may witness, please report it to your nearest steward at any venue, to the Club Office or Safety Officer or by e-mail to security@harriers.co.uk
