HARRIERS are delighted to confirm that both Ashley Hemmings and Amari Morgan-Smith will remain with the club for the new season.
The iconic Aggborough duo bagged a phenomenal 51 goals between them during 2024-25, with Hemmings ending the term as National League North’s top goal scorer.
‘Hemmo’ has been a firm favourite with the DY10 faithful since first signing in 2019 and has raked up 247 appearances in that time.
Amari’s first spell in Worcestershire was back in 2013 and he has played over 250 times in the red and white, last term bagging 18 goals of his own.
The pair live and breathe the club and, with the news their contracts have extended for 2025-26, new boss Adam Murray was delighted they’ll be staying for longer.
“I’ve worked with Hemmo at two clubs before, so I know very well what quality he brings,” Murray commented.
“You can see he has become a serial winner and obviously knows what it takes to get success now, so I am over the moon he is playing with us.
“I actually played with Morgs for a bit at Luton, a really short crossover but, again, he’s an unbelievable professional with an unbelievable mentality.
“He brings so much to the team on the pitch but off the pitch as well, he’s a leader.”
The boss added: “These kinds of people are priceless, and to have people staying with us but not only know what the football club is about but understand what this league is about what and what it takes to get out of it – you can’t put a price on it.
“I am over the moon to have them both with us and hopefully they’ll be a massive part of what we’re doing.”
