Harriers boss James Astle the Ladies are still keen to improve despite their 5-2 win over Droitwich Spa on Sunday.
The victory earned the team a place in the semi-final of the League Cup where they will meet Coventry Sphinx.
While the home side were in control for large spells of the game and fired in five goals, there were parts of the performance that left both players and management unhappy.
Astle insisted this is no bad thing, however, as the ladies continue to search and set high standards.
“A win’s a win in any game,” he said after the win.
“We know that we are raising the bar week after week…” Ladies boss James Astle.
“I have got to be honest; in terms of the displays we’ve seen recently, that’s probably one of the worst start’s we’ve had.
“We know that we are raising the bar week after week, but it is a 5-2 win and it puts us through to the semi-final.
“There’s plenty to work on and there were some good spells in the game but, overall, I think the girls know that at half time they were disappointed with themselves.
“That just shows where they want to go to, but we’re through and that’s the main thing.”
