Harriers Ladies boss James Astle

Harriers Ladies continued their unbeaten start to 2018 with an emphatic victory over Rugby Town Ladies, emerging with a 12-1 victory.

Harriers opened the scoring when a great through ball from midfield saw Molly Maguire run on to it take it into the area, before calmly finishing into the far corner.

Harriers doubled their lead through skipper Amber Lawrence, before Amie Savva added a third.

Lawrence and Savva both added their name to the score sheet for a second time before Alex Nicklin scored Harriers’ sixth and final goal of the half.

In the second half, Lauren Wyatt stepped off of the bench to grab a brace to get the score line up to 8-0.

An own goal, a Kady Donohue strike and two more goals from Nicklin followed as she completed her hat trick.

Despite Rugby pulling one goal back late on, the match finished with an emphatic scoreline of 12-1.
