Defeat for Floodlit squad

Cup defeat for young Harriers…



Harriers’ Midland Floodlit Youth League squad fell to a narrow defeat on penalties in the County Cup quarter-final against Bromsgrove Sporting.

The young squad consisted of numerous 16 and 17 year olds which fought well against older oppositon.

Harriers fell behind on Thursday night before Harry Brown netted with his head from a free kick to level the tie.

That was how the match stayed meaning a penalty shootout was needed to decide between the two sides, which Bromsgrove won 5-4.
