HARRIERS take to the road for the first time in the National League North season as they make the short trip to AFC Telford United on Tuesday (7:45pm).
Meetings with the Bucks have become something of a tradition in the early part of the new term, and the two will again meet at the New Bucks Head for the second game of the term.
Harriers are looking to build on a point gained against Leamington on Saturday, with Telford keen to bounce back quickly after an opening-day defeat at Kettering Town.
Sam Austin ahead of the game:
“Every team in this league brings something of their own to the game.
“Telford will make it difficult for us and it will be a tough game for us.
“The beauty of August is that, if something doesn’t go your way, there’s only a few days [to wait] to put it right.”
Boss John Pemberton on a busy start to the term:
“We have eight games in the month and we’re going to need everyone.
“We’ve got a small squad and I’ve got to manage it properly and make sure they recover properly.
“They’re ready to go again because they’re disappointed with the result [on Saturday].”
Team news
There were no known injury concerns for the gaffer immediately following Saturday’s game at Aggborough.
