STAFFORD RANGERS are the next visitors to DY10, as they encounter Harriers in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round, a 3pm kick off on Saturday.

Stafford head to Aggborough following a 3-0 win over Mickleover Sports in the First Qualifying Round.

Harriers picked up their first home win of the season last weekend, a 2-0 victory over Altrincham.

Tom Palmer ahead of FA Cup weekend:

"A good FA Cup run will be brilliant for the fans, and good for us as players to go as far as we can in it.

"We can't afford to be complacent, and need to treat it like we would any other game - we've got to go and get the win, that's all we are focused on.

"We get to play in front of our home fans, which is a massive bonus for us.

"Getting our first home win last weekend is a massive weight off our shoulders, and the boys are in good spirits.

"I'm buzzing - really pleased to be back in the team, and it means a lot to me to be playing for my home town."

Team news

Jamie Sharman remains with his parent club, Chesterfield, receiving treatment following an injury sustained at Blyth Spartans. It is unlikely the defender will recover in time to feature for Harriers again before the end of his loan in around a weeks' time.

Cameron Gregory is very close to making a return following an injury in the same game at Croft Park.

Former Harriers manager Steve Burr has been both player and manager of the Boro, as well as former assistant manager Tim Flowers, who managed Stafford between 2010 and 2011.

Harriers centurion Ian Clarkson is among the players who have played for both sides, as well as the likes of Andy White, Tyrell Waite, Chris Brindley, Brian Smikle, Michael Carr, Ben Foster and Gavin Caines.

Head-to-Head

Stafford Rangers were regular opponents during the 80s and 90s, but last faced Harriers in the Conference in 2008.

The two sides last met in the FA Cup in 1988, a 2-1 win for The Boro in the Fourth Qualifying Round.
