HARRIERS were held at home once more as Alfreton Town came and battled out a 0-0 draw.

Adam Lund's header forced Christian Dibble into a good first half save with the visitors' only real chance of the day, while Amari Morgan-Smith and Alex Penny respectively had huge chances either side of half time to win it for the Reds.

Lund's effort was also the first real chance of the day, Dibble extending himself well to meet a header that looked destined for the bottom corner.

Harriers struggled for early chances but had a couple before the break. After Ashley Hemmings saw a chance fly into the arms of a grateful George Willis, Morgan-Smith really ought to have put his team in front when he side-footed a Caleb Richards cross over the bar.

In between that, Reiss McNally went close to his second of the season when he also lifted over, Penny's looping header on 53 minutes brushing agonisingly wide of the post.

Harriers had the vast majority of the play and pressure in the later stages of the game, but Dibble had to remain alert at the other end - with just seven minutes to go, Dayle Southwell wriggled free in the area and shot after a long throw reached him in the area. Thankfully for the hosts, the goalkeeper was down quickly to deal with it.

Penny had another sight of goal with just two left of normal time. He tried to aim a half volley towards the top corner but the effort lacked the pinpoint accuracy needed and flew over.
