Background
Harriers Foundation (founded as Kidderminster Harriers Community Trust) is a registered charity (1092877) aiming to encourage more children to play and watch football. Established in 1993 was one of only 4 non-league clubs invited into the National Football and Community Programme in Professional Football.
The Foundation provides a range of football activities throughout the year in Worcestershire and the surrounding areas that promote all of the following objectives throughout all areas of engagement.
- Provide and promote a healthier lifestyle to all
- Ensure that an inclusive environment is developed
- Promote the benefits of football
- Ensure enjoyment and fun are constantly present
The Foundation have a group of committed staff who are at least FA Level 2 qualified with some coaches being UEFA A/B qualified, many of the coaches are ex-professional players themselves.
Each year, The Foundation works with an average of 15,000 people across all of our programmes and desire to develop footballing talent alongside creating healthier community. In 2012 and 2019, the Foundation were awarded Community Club of the Year by the National League Foundation.
Over the course of the last two decades the work undertaken in the local community has certainly increased levels of footballing activity and enabled people to become or stay active, promoting healthier lifestyles all round.

Encourage more people, especially children to play and watch football for the good of the game and our community.
The Foundation’s Vision
To ensure that activities are available for all regardless of age, religion, ethnic background, ability and gender, ensuring that the scheme retains a “community ethos”. Making a positive impact in the community is the main objective.
