Jimmy O’Connor

Enjoying a long playing career in the Championship and League One prior to joining Harriers, Jimmy O’Connor racked up almost 400 appearances across those two levels with the likes of Bournemouth, Doncaster Rovers, Derby County, Bristol City and Walsall.

Turning out mainly as a right-back or centre-back, O’Connor joined Harriers during the 2017/18 season. He’s go on to make 47 appearances in red and white, including a short spell as Caretaker Manager at the end of the 2018/19 season, before hanging up his boots and moving into a coaching role amongst Harriers Academy for the 2019/20 season.

Upon Russ Penn’s appointment as Interim Manager in February 2020, O’Connor was named as part of Harriers’ interim management team before being permanently appointed as Assistant Manager ahead of the 2020/21 season.
