Expanding Our Vision: Football for All

At Kidderminster Harriers, we believe football is more than just a game—it’s a pathway for personal growth, development, and community engagement.

As we look ahead, we are committed to providing more opportunities for everyone, expanding our footballing provisions across Sunday football, disability football, and specialised skills training such as futsal and our own development hubs.

Our ambitious vision aims to see the club grow from 29 teams to 80 teams over the next two seasons. This expansion is not just about numbers but about creating meaningful pathways for players of all abilities and backgrounds to engage with the sport. Whether you’re taking your first steps into football or looking for elite development opportunities, our club is here to support your journey.

Football for Everyone

We recognise that sport, particularly football, plays a vital role in both physical and mental well-being. The benefits extend far beyond the pitch, helping young children and adults stay active, build friendships, and develop resilience. With this in mind, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ability, has the chance to play and enjoy the game.

For those with disabilities, we are expanding our dedicated football provision to ensure everyone can participate in a safe and supportive setting. Our disability football programme will provide structured sessions led by experienced coaches, creating a welcoming environment for all players to enjoy the beautiful game.

Development and Pathways

In addition to our grassroots and competitive teams, we are enhancing our footballing pathways. Our futsal programme and development hubs will provide targeted skill development for those looking to refine their game. Futsal, known for its fast-paced nature and technical demands, offers a unique opportunity for players to improve their touch, decision-making, and agility—all essential attributes for success in modern football.

For young players balancing their studies with football, we offer the best facilities and provisions to support their dual ambitions. Our pathways allow both male and female players to continue their football journey while pursuing higher education. Whether progressing to university or exploring opportunities beyond football, we are committed to helping our players develop on and off the pitch.

The Future of Our Club

With a clear vision and a commitment to inclusivity, development, and community engagement, our club is entering an exciting new phase. We are not just building teams; we are creating a footballing culture where everyone has the chance to thrive. As we expand, we remain dedicated to providing top-quality coaching, excellent facilities, and a supportive environment for all our players.

Football is more than just a sport—it’s an outlet, a passion, and a lifelong journey. We are proud to be a club that nurtures talent, fosters personal growth, and provides opportunities for all. As we move forward with our plans for expansion, we invite you to be a part of this journey. Whether as a player, coach, volunteer, or supporter, together we can make football accessible to all and continue to grow as a club that truly represents our community.
