Shawn heads to Premier League

Harriers say goodbye to another ‘graduate’…

Harriers said a fond farewell to another of their off-field team recently – though we use the term ‘off-field’ very loosely!

Shawn Bishton recently left his position at Aggborough Stadium after more than two years working as part of the club’s ground staff.

Shawn joined us on an apprenticeship and worked alongside the grounds team here to help keep the pitch here at Aggborough in fine condition – alongside similar work on the large number of surfaces down at COSE, the home of our Academy.

His work didn’t go unnoticed, and we’re really pleased to say that Shawn’s departure from Aggborough comes as a result of him securing a new position with a Premier League club.

We’re delighted for Shawn and look forward to hearing of the big things he achieves in his career as the latest in a long line of personnel to progress onwards after beginning work here as part of the Harriers staff, proving that it’s far from just footballers who succeed at the club.

Congratulations Shawn, and good luck!
