MILAN Butterfield featured for Bermuda as they got their Concacaf Gold Cup 2019 campaign underway on Sunday.
The midfielder featured off the bench for the final 28 minutes of the encounter against Haiti in Costa Rica.
The game was level at 1-1 at that point, with Haiti going on to grab what was, in the end, the winning goal six minutes later.
Milan had a chance to level matters with a chance of his own but fired his shot off target.
Bermuda, who also fielded former Harrier Dale Eve, next play on Friday when they meet Costa Rica.
