HARRIERS sealed back-to-back away wins with a hard-fought, deserved 1-0 win at a Curzon Ashton.
Ashley Chambers struck a fourth goal of the season to ultimately decide the tie, but it was no more than the Reds deserved, for what was arguably their best performance of the term so far.
Ed Williams, Richard Peniket and Correy Davidson had all been denied by an in-form goalkeeper, Cam Mason, in a busy first half.
Harriers continued to dominate and deservedly went ahead just before the hour. Chambers was played through, inside the area, before finishing calmly past Mason to the delight of the travelling fans.
Curzon did have one, key, clear-cut chance in the afternoon but, with just nine minutes left to go, Cameron Gregory was alert to block out Sean Miller’s shot.
