HARRIERS suffered a 1-0 home defeat in National League North, with Chester claiming all three points at Aggborough.
Matty Hughes netted the only goal of the game with a well-taken finish with less than half an hour played, with the unbeaten Blues continuing their good start to the term.
Ed Williams had, just before, forced Chester keeper Griffiths into a good save, but clear-cut home chances were few and far between on the day.
Jackson and Dudley both had good chances after the break to put the game beyond doubt, while Austin, Ed Williams and Austin all had half openings to try and level.
There was a big chance for Harriers with just four left to go when a ball looped up beyond the goalkeeper, and on to the boot of Chambers, only for his shot to skew wide of the target.
