An update on the start of some of this season’s Cup competitions…

The FA have confirmed further details surrounding some of this season’s Cup competitions.
As you’ll already know, our new campaign gets underway on Saturday, 3 October with an FA Cup Second Qualifying Round clash.
The draw for this round of the competition has yet to be made, but this should be done just after Tuesday, 22 September when the previous round’s matches are due to be played.
The FA have also confirmed that the Qualifying Rounds in this year’s competition will be completed without replays.
Meanwhile, our journey in the FA Trophy this season will begin somewhat later than in previous years – we’ll be entering at the Second Round proper stage, which is slated for Saturday, 5 December.
The FA have confirmed that there will be no replays at any stage in the FA Trophy this season.
Lastly, unless we are drawn to receive a bye to the First Qualifying Round, our young guns will begin their FA Youth Cup adventure in the First Preliminary Round.
The draw for that round – due to be played in the week commencing 7 September – will be made on 18 August.
