MAX Taylor doesn’t want the gap in fixtures to halt Harriers momentum ahead of the trip to Chorley on Saturday (3pm).
The Reds were without match action last weekend after the Alfreton Town game was postponed.
It meant the team were unable to build on the promising 3-1 win at Darlington seven days’ prior.
Despite that, the on-loan Manchester United defender is keen for the side to keep the feelgood factor from that afternoon going with the next fixture now looming on the horizon.
As the old adage goes, you’re only as good as your last result, and Taylor is confident Harriers can prove they’re as good as that result and performance shows.
“We can still carry that momentum we had into this game,” he said, looking ahead to the game.
“You’re only as good as your last result and that is still our last result. We’ve got to carry that on through this game and the boys have all talked about looking forward to getting another result.
“It is always good to have form and momentum to build on because it creates an atmosphere at the training ground.

“That’s amazing to be a part of and it’s what we want to achieve this year.”
Taylor has quickly settled into life at Aggborough following his season-long switch from Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old made his debut in the FA Cup defeat at Alvechurch – his first ever outing in the competition – before featuring in the Chester and Darlington matches.
Reflecting on his start, he added: “I have really enjoyed it – it is exactly what I came for.
“These first few weeks have really helped me progress… I really feel like I have developed and gelled into the team.”
Russ Penn will be without Amari Morgan-Smith (suspended) for the trip to Victory Park.
The boss, who earlier tipped the Magpies to be among the division’s promotion contenders this season, could have Jim Kellermann back available after injury, while Cliff Moyo successfully completed his comeback with a cameo at Darlington.
