CONGRATULATIONS go to Ashley Hemmings after the Harriers man snapped up National League North’s Player of the Month award.
It’s been a strong month across the board for Russ Penn’s men in league and Cup, and Hemmings has enjoyed his share of fun, too.
During the whole of October he turned out seven times in all competitions and netted two goals, superb efforts in both the win over Bradford (Park Avenue) and the draw at Chorley.
That was enough for our man to bag the Vanarama award for the entire division in October – a good run that continued into November, of course, with the winning goal in our FA Cup upset of Grimsby Town at Aggborough.
