HARRIERS wrap-up their pre-season on Saturday with a trip to Halesowen Town.
The Reds concluded their home campaign in midweek with defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday.
An Academy-led Harriers XI fell to a 4-1 defeat at Sporting Khalsa on Thursday, leaving Saturday’s clash all that stands between Harriers and the opening game of the National League North term at Blyth a week on Saturday (6th).
Boss Russ Penn knows the Halesowen test is a great one to finish as he takes his side to the Yeltz, who only narrowly missed out on promotion to Step 3 last term.
Penn said: “Halesowen will be a really good test, but that’s why we’ve planned it for that day.
“They are a Step 4 team but they should easily be playing at Step 3 and they will compete with us.
“I went to watch them against Leamington. They’re very competitive and it will be perfect for us.”
Admission prices for our final friendly at are £5 adults, £3 concessions and ‘kids’, £1 U12s with a paying adult.
Kick-off is at 3:00pm.
