HARRIERS have been contacted by The FA to discuss incidents of improper behaviour by supporters at recent matches.
The Association have asked the club for their observations following the alleged use of a laser pen by an individual within the crowd which was shone onto to the pitch during play of the recent match with Chorley.
Further, we have been asked to comment on the use of pyrotechnics by Harriers fans at the recent match against Banbury.
Following a small number of incidents last season, the behaviour of the spectators this season has been much improved at Aggborough. However, instances such as these by individuals risk causing damage to people’s health, put the good name of the club in jeopardy and leave the club open to possible sanction by The FA.
As a club that fully supports The FA’s new crackdown on improper behaviour, this cannot be tolerated. Action will be taken against those found to be involved.
If anybody has any information on the incidents, then please contact the club in strictest confidence via email at info@harriers.co.uk or via phone by ringing the club on 01562 823 931 and ask to speak to the General Manager.
