HARRIERS and Hartlepool shared National League spoils at Aggborough with a 1-1 draw under the lights.
The visitors were ahead early through an own goal, but were level before the break thanks to Amar Morgan-Smith’s fifth goal of the campaign.
Christian Dibble made a string of second half saves to ensure the Reds secured a point.
A confident Pools side started well and Hastie struck wide of the far post with a matter of seconds on the clock in what was a big let-off for the home side. They were ahead soon after when Reiss McNally inadvertently diverted a dangerous low cross into the area past Dibble.
After Alex Penny and McNally struck off target for Harriers, Crawford clipped the Harriers post with an attempted lob that almost caught out Dibble as he looked on.
Harriers were level, though, when Lambert drove at goal with an effort goalkeeper Dixon turned around the post. Lambert took the resulting corner where Morgan-Smith guided a free header past a helpless Dixon and into the net.
Lambert was at the heart of things again six minutes later when Harriers almost made it 2-1, turning the ball around for Ryan McLean, who was denied on the angle by a good block from the goalkeeper.
Hartlepool came out strongly at the outset of the second half and through a combination of wasteful finishing in front of goal and good stopping by Dibble, Crawford, Dieseruvwe and Hastie were all denied.
A breakaway four before the hour almost had Harriers ahead. Hobson moved forward well and supplied McLean, whose driven cross was met by the well-timed run of Hemmings, his shot parried away well by Dixon.
Hastie, on 69 minutes, went close again when he curled an effort wide of the far post. Dieseruvwe had another brace of efforts saved by Dibble, including a superb save with his legs at point blank range.
Hartlepool kept the chances ticking over, but there was one further chance for a Harriers goal when Morgan-Smith planted a header straight at Dixon from eight yards out.
