HARRIERS progressed to the semi-final of the WFA Senior Invitation Cup on Tuesday night after overcoming Droitwich Spa on penalties.

On a bitterly cold evening, Kobe Hall’s strike had put  a mixed Harriers side ahead before the hosts pulled level.

In the second half, Harriers were in front again through Zak Brown before an immediate response from the penalty spot made it 2-2.

That forced a penalty shoot-out, with Tom Palmer making two decisive saves to help Harriers on their way to victory, along with spot-kick goals from Gerry McDonagh, Kai Lissimore, Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain and Brown.

The draw for the semi-final will be made in due course.
