Reflecting on his progress as a part of the Harriers family, Academy Coach Harry Butler, who has worked closely with the youngster, said: “When he first came in, within the first couple of sessions we knew we had a player on our hands.
“He’s gone from strength to strength… he’s always had the ability that she’s been showcasing, but our job was to provide a home for him, and a confidence to show those skills and show the first team what he can do.”

Talented players in positions all over the pitch have made the step from Academy to the senior men’s side, those opportunities being a big pull for players making their way to Worcestershire.

“You’re out there and everyone looks out for you, including the players and staff.”
Samson Hewett is now in his second season as a first team player having penned terms last season and also made his first team debut.
The attitude and professionalism of the squad’s youngsters is huge plus, according to Manager Phil Brown, who added: “It’s about mentality and attitude and, if they maintain the attitude that they’re showing at the moment, they’ve got a great chance of having a career.”
