Harriers partner with Scimitar

Introducing Worcestershire-based kit supplier Scimitar, from the 2025-26 season

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are proud and excited to announce they will partner with Worcestershire-based kit supplier Scimitar from the 2025-26 season.

The extensive partnership continues the club’s drive to engage and work closely with businesses across the local area, having already linked up with a whole host of partners based within the county over the last few years including its catering, waste, recruitment, insurance and travel partners.

In joining forces with Scimitar, Kidderminster Harriers will be aligning with the Worcester company not only for the creation of all new kits – to be revealed in the coming months – but also to continue its own considerable sustainability efforts.

In addition to placing strong focus on adding value within our community including working with local businesses and launching a regular foodbank collection on home match days, the club has made a concerted effort to operate as sustainably as possible.

The club is proud that one hundred percent of all non-recyclable waste from Aggborough Stadium and its training ground is now converted into renewable energy and, following the introduction of an enhanced recycling programme, an additional two tonnes of waste has been recycled from Aggborough, with a dedicated food-waste initiative already in place.

Furthering these efforts with Scimitar is hugely significant. Launched in 2010, Scimitar have manufactured and sold over three million items in the last year as a leading brand for sustainable custom sportswear, sublimation t-shirts and custom promotional items. Now, they boast the UK’s largest range of custom recycled sportswear.

Having supplied teamwear for various sports including cycling, running and rugby, alongside premium apparel for African Champions League football clubs in Zambia, Scimitar will launch its first football brand in the UK by teaming with Kidderminster Harriers from next season, with striking home and away designs already in production for the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

Harriers General Manager Paul Biggerstaff commented: “The success and prosperity of local business is incredibly important to us as a football club, as is our track record of long-term, meaningful partnerships within the area.

“We are hugely impressed with not only Scimitar’s vision for an exciting kit range for the new season, but their determination to lead the way in sustainability, something which we take very seriously. Combining those two things makes this an ideal partnership for us.”

Zak Williams, Head of Football Partnerships at Scimitar, added: “We’re delighted to be the official kit supplier to Kidderminster Harriers from the 2025/26 season. As a brand based out of Worcestershire with Kidderminster-based staff, we’re thrilled to expand our roster of sports and clubs with a local club, and are excited to reveal more information soon.
