EARLIER this month, key sponsors West Midlands Safari Park launched their ‘Tiger Takeover’.
The brand-new event celebrates the arrival of three critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs, which were born on 17th January 2025, with the ‘Tiger Takeover’ offering guests an array of tiger-themed activities, and the opportunity to see the adorable cubs.
The event is already well under way, running on weekends from 3rd May, through until 18th May, before running daily from 24th May until 1st June.
What’s even better, is that all of the activities are included within the standard admission price!
There’s a number of event highlights, including:
- Meet the Tiger Cubs: Visit the Tiger Tropics habitat to catch a glimpse of the playful cubs.
- Tiger Trail: Embark on an interactive trail around the Discovery Trail. Complete the trail card and enter a prize draw to win an overnight stay in the Tiger Safari Lodge for up to five people.
- Tumbling Tigers Trampoline Show: Enjoy an acrobatic performance by Tramp Wall UK.
- Tiger Keeper Talk: Join our Carnivore Keepers at 2pm daily on the Reptile Stage for an insightful talk about the Park’s tigers.
- Meet Eddie & Eliza: Interact with Explorers Eddie and Eliza in the Discovery Trail, learn fun tiger facts, and take memorable photos.
- Tiger Craft Club: Get creative with tiger-themed arts and crafts for the whole family!
- Photo Competition: Capture your best tiger-themed photo at our ‘Love Tigers’ photo point and share it on the WMSP Facebook page for a chance to win an ultimate VIP Tour for four people.
- Conservation Station: Learn about the threats facing tigers in the wild, and discover how you can contribute to their conservation.
Guests are encouraged to book tickets for West Midlands Safari Park online in advance, to take advantage of the best deals. Children under the age of three go free.
