KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are delighted to announce the signing of centre-back Pierce Bird.
Pierce will become a Harriers player from 1st July, subject to FA and National League approval.
The former Northern Ireland Under-21 international links back up with Adam Murray, having previously played for the new boss during stints with Fylde, and Eastbourne Borough in recent seasons.
The centre-back was an ever-present for The Sports last term, as the East Sussex side finished one point off top in the National League South.
The 26-year-old has previously enjoyed success in the National League North, as he made 38 appearances and scored two goals in AFC Fylde’s title-winning campaign in 2022-23.
He’s also featured for the likes of Leek Town, Alfreton Town, Boston United, Eastleigh and King’s Lynn Town.
Harriers boss Adam Murray was understandably delighted that he will again be able to call on the service of Pierce Bird, as he joins him in DY10.
“Pierce has been with me at my last two clubs and had a great success.
“For me he is one of the best ball playing centre backs at this level and has won the league before. He understands the league and will be a strong addition to the team.”
