KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Women’s First Team Crowned Champions – New Tier 4 Pathway for U18s Girls Now Open
Kidderminster Harriers are proud to announce that our Women’s First Team have been crowned WMRWFL Premier Division Champions for the 2024/25 season, earning promotion to the FA Women’s National League (Tier 4).
This achievement is a major milestone in the club’s journey and signals a new era for women’s football in Worcestershire. But more importantly, it represents a genuine opportunity for the next generation of young female footballers.
A Clear Pathway from Academy to Tier 4 Football
To support the continued growth of the women’s game, we are excited to launch our Full-Time U18s Girls’ Programme for the 2025/26 season.
This programme has been designed to provide a clear and structured pathway for players transitioning from youth to senior football; now with the added incentive of progressing directly into a Tier 4 squad.
What the Programme Offers:
– Professional Training Environment
Players will train 4–5 times per week in a performance-based setup and compete in Saturday fixtures.
– Video Analysis & Tactical Development
Regular use of VEO match analysis and tactical briefings to develop player understanding and performance.
– Strength & Conditioning Support
Weekly S&C sessions to build physical resilience, reduce injury risk, and improve athletic ability.
– Elite Exposure & Facilities
Access to St. George’s Park, Bodymoor Heath, and collaboration with the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) provides players with experiences at top-level training grounds.
– Guest Mentorship & Insights
Sessions delivered by professional coaches, analysts, and ex-players from across the football industry.
Academic Progression & Life Beyond Football
Our programme isn’t just about football. It’s about developing well-rounded individuals. Players will complete a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, which is equivalent to three A-Levels and worth up to 168 UCAS points.
Whether players aim to go to university or start a career in sport, this qualification creates flexible and exciting opportunities.
Past players have progressed into degrees in:
• Sports Coaching
• Journalism
• Psychology
• Criminology
• Physiotherapy and more
There are also options to study and play abroad, including across the USA through our partner pathways.
Future Career Pathways
