HARRIERS are seeking volunteers to act as ball retrievers following the implementation of Multi-Ball in National League North.
This season Multi-ball is being introduced in our division, meaning eight balls will be placed on cones around the pitch to aid continuous play.
The club therefore needs to have eight ball retrievers for every home game to retrieve balls and place on the cones.
Ball Retrievers need to be aged 14 or over and under 18.
For those over 14 but under 16, this will be for 3pm kick offs only. For those 16 or over it will include evening kick offs.
Any child over 14 but under 16 will need a Local Authority permit to complete the role which the club will process for any volunteers.
For those under 14 now, as soon as you reach your 14th birthday, please email Kevin Bunn if you would like to volunteer.
If you would like to volunteer as a ball retriever for all our home games as part of a pool and receive free entry for the game, half time food and drink and a reduced priced parent ticket, whilst being up close to the action, please email Kevin Bunn giving your child’s name, date of birth and your contact details and whether you can commit to every game or happy to be part of a pool of retrievers on rotation.
We’d like to thank volunteers in advance for their support.
