HARRIERS are thrilled to confirm the signing of exciting and versatile left-sider Kai Innocent.
The 24-year-old joins having recently departed Eastbourne, where he scooped several Player of the Season awards last term.
Capable of playing in a number of positions and blessed with real attacking intent, the new Harriers man is well known to Reds boss Adam Murray – the Manager’s Player of the Year was one of several he bagged after an eye-catching 2024-25 in National League South.
All told, Innocent has made over 100 appearances for Eastbourne across four spells and has also spent time during his career at QPR, Hemel Hempstead and Havant.
He’s now a Harrier, and heads into the squad ahead of the weekend trip to AFC Fylde with Murray understandably delighted to be reunited with the player.
He explained: “We’re always looking to move for good players and Kai is definitely in that bracket, so this is a good opportunity for us.
“He came into us last season in a similar position and ended up getting Player of the Season, for the Club and Players’ Player of the Season. To get that honour from your peers shows what a great player he is.
“It’s a great coup for us and I’m very thankful to the Chairman and Dean for making it happen. He’ll add a different dimension and dynamic to us.
“He can play in a couple of positions, he has goals in him and he has assists in him, so we’re over the moon to get him in.”
Welcome to Aggborough, Kai!
