Road Safety Week 2025

IN conjunction with our partners, Redspeed International, we’re highlighting Road Safety Week.

Road Safety Week runs from 16th-22nd November, with this year’s focus honing in on the theme ‘Safe Vehicles Save Lives’.

We’re looking to raise awareness on some of the key things to be aware of to make sure that every journey is as safe as possible – for those in the car as well as everyone around it.

The message will be delivered via a short video series, with members of the Harriers first team delivering messages on the importance of Road Safety.

About Road Safety Week

Every year, more than 1,700 people die on UK roads, another 30,000 receive serious, life-changing injuries, and there has been no significant reduction in numbers for more than a decade.

Road Safety Week is an annual event coordinated by the charity Brake, and aims to inspire action and provide resources for schools, organisations and the public, to learn about and improve road safety.

This Road Safety Week, Brake wants to make sure that every time a person gets inside a vehicle, that they’re as safe as possible. Safe vehicles are designed to prevent road crashes and protect people inside and outside the vehicle if a crash does happen.
