WE’RE delighted to announce our Harriers Community Football Festival, which will take place at the Centre of Sporting Excellence (COSE) this May.
This event follows on from the success of our Junior Football Festival which took place last May, but this year it’ll be back bigger, and even better!
The tournament will again see grassroots teams from Under-8s, up to Under-16s competing on Saturday 17th, and Sunday 18th May 2026, whilst this year’s event will also see entries from adult pan disability teams for the first time.
When is the Harriers Community Football Festival?
The Harriers Community Football Festival will take place on Saturday 16th, and Sunday 17th May 2026.
Where will the Harriers Community Football Festival take place?
This year, the whole event will take place at The Centre of Sporting Excellence (COSE), which is located off Zortech Avenue, post code DY11 7DY.
The venue is home to both our Academy, and First Team training facilities, with ample parking, great facilities, and fantastic pitches.
Who can participate?
This event has been specially formatted to be fully inclusive for all junior ages and for both boys and girls from Under-8s, up to Under-16s, whilst this year we will also be welcoming entries for adult pan disability teams.

– 9v9 | U12 Girls

Saturday PM
– 7v7 | U9 Boys | U8 Mixed
– 9v9 | U11 Boys
– 11v11 | U13 Boys | U15 Girls
17th May
Sunday AM
– 7v7 | U9 Boys | U9 Girls
– 9v9 | U12 Boys
– 11v11 | U14 Girls | U16 Boys
Sunday PM
– 7v7 | Adult Pan Disability
– 9v9 | U11 Girls
– 11v11 | U13 Girls | U15 Boys
AM = 9:30am-2:30pm, PM = 1:30pm-7:30pm
The only restrictions on entry to the Festival, is that teams must already be existing and registered as playing junior football, whilst teams with Academy status are not permitted.
How can I book a team?
Booking is easy and can be done via the Harriers online ticketing website. Places are open now, but are limited, so if you are interested in securing a spot for a team you know, act swiftly!
How much will entry cost?
Entry prices will vary dependent on the size of your team, but on average works out around £4 per person. The full price structure is detailed below:
– 7v7: £40 per team
– 9v9: £50 per team
– 11v11: £60 per team
What is the format of the Festival?
Each team entered into the Harriers Community Football Festival will be guaranteed a minimum of four matches throughout the tournament.
The Festival will run across two days, but each team will start and finish its matches across the same day.
Teams of 11 and 9 will participate in matches of 20 minutes, whilst matches will be 15 minutes in length for teams of 7.
Can family members attend to watch the matches?
Across the weekend there will be plenty of fun for all of the family, as during the festival, COSE will also feature a Family Fun Zone.
The Fun Zone is set to feature live music, food vendors and a tuck shop. For the younger family members in attendance there’s set to be face painting, whilst Harry the Harrier will be on hand to pose for any photos on each day. There will also be a number of football challenges for all the family to participate in, and more!
