A look to Tuesday night…

ADAM Murray has hailed the arrival of striker Danny Waldron at the club ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Bedford.

The forward joined the Reds on loan from Brackley Town in advance of the 2-0 win at Scarborough on Saturday and came off the bench for a late cameo in Bridlington.

Games keep coming thick and fast for Harriers, a run of away matches continuing with the trip to Bedford on Tuesday.

Waldron will naturally be keen for more minutes in a Harriers shirt, and Murray, too, was excited about the prospect of working with the former Southend man.

Speaking after Saturday’s win, Murray said: “I spoke to Danny a lot over the summer. He must have been that fed up with me because I was pestering him every day!

“I knew he’d be a big ingredient for us. He’s different to what we’ve got. He gives us something that we haven’t had in this season in terms of what he brings.

“Hus running ability; he’s got great pace, brings people into the game and he’ll add to the other centre-forwards we’ve got up there.

“So, yeah, great to get him in the building and to secure him. I’m really happy with where the squad’s at the minute.”

Harriers head to a Bedford side themselves full of confidence after an excellent 2-1 win over Alfreton Town on Saturday.

The Eagles have made a superb start to life National League North and have already equalled their best ever points tally at Step 2.

Earlier this season Harriers had to come from behind at Aggborough to secure a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Dan Mooney and Jack Clarke.

Kick-off at Bedford on Tuesday is at 7:45pm.

As a reminder, the match is all-ticket – none will be sold at the gate on the night so must be purchased in advance via Bedford’s ticketing website. The site also contains important matchday details including contact for those who require seating.

Not going to the game? We have you covered –  the game is being shown live at The Harriers Arms, along with our trip to Macclesfield a week later. No need to book – just turn up!

SUPPORTER CONDUCT

We would like to reinforce our message on supporter conduct

Supporters currently subject to a banning order from Aggborough Stadium should be aware that host clubs may choose to extend this ban to their own premises. In that instance, fans should not attempt to purchase a ticket and/or enter on the day as they will be denied entry.

Harriers again strongly supports The National League and Football Association in delivering their antisocial conduct message.

Please review the following information before visiting Aggborough or following the team on the road, and remember that your entry into Aggborough Stadium, or any other venue, is subject to the acceptance of the National League’s Ground regulations and adherence to the Smoke No Joke policy. Both documents are clearly visible and available on entry turnstiles but are also available for download below.

Specifically, we would like to remind supporters that the club will not tolerate supporter misconduct of any kind. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Discriminatory behaviour. This means conduct or language that is aggravated by ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, faith, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or disability.
  • Entering the field of play or its immediate surrounding area without permission
  • The throwing of missiles towards the pitch, technical area or dugout
  • The possession or use of pyrotechnics such as flares or smoke bombs

Please support Kidderminster Harriers responsibility. Should you be concerned by any of the above conduct you may witness, please report it to your nearest steward at any venue, to the Club Office or Safety Officer or by e-mail to security@harriers.co.uk
