BOSS Adam Murray confirmed after Saturday’s game that Ashley Hemmings will return to Dagenham following the end of his loan stint with Harriers.
Nothing short of a Reds legend, Hemmings has been back at Aggborough on loan from the National League South outfit after moving there in the summer.
After featuring on 12 occasions in his second spell in Worcestershire, ‘Hemmo’ no returns to the Daggers with this loan having come to an end at the weekend.
“He’s been a big part of this football club for a long, long time,” explained Murray after the FA Trophy penalty shoot-out defeat against Wealdstone.
“Me, personally, and I know everyone at the club, has got a lot of respect for him.
“I just think over this two-month period, it’s probably not clicked and worked as we both expected and wanted it to, and you never know what’s around the corner in the bigger picture.
“We’ve got spaces we need to free up and we’ve got areas that I feel we need a little bit more in, but we thank Ash for everything he gave us in those two months and we move on.”
We once again say a huge thank to Hemmo for all he’s done in Red and wish him nothing but success in whatever the future holds.
