The experienced shot-stopper joined in March 2026, having recently departed Boston United, where he has played on almost 30 occasions in the National League and cups this term.

Rhys has made the move to the Pilgrims on the back of a strong personal season in the National League South with Welling United last season, and counts Cheltenham Town and Torquay United among his previous clubs.

Rhys joins as an important member of the squad until the end of 2025-26, whilst Christian Dibble continues his recovery from injury.
