A creative midfielder with great insight, Clarke was brought to the club by Adam Murray in the summer of 2025.

The pair had previously worked together at Eastbourne Borough, where Clarke made over 50 appearances for The Sports across two seasons.

The midfielder progressed through the youth system at Aston Villa, before gaining first team experience out on loan at Yeovil Town. A loan stint at Chesterfield followed and was made permanent ahead of the 2021-22 season.

During his time in North Derbyshire, Jack was part of the Spireites side that secured successive play-off finishes.
