Adam Murray gave his squad an injection of pace and power in the summer with the acquisition of versatile defender George Walker.

Walker arrived at Aggborough having spent last season with Hastings United in the Isthmian League Premier Division, where he established himself as an ever-present, making 43 appearances.

Though Hastings struggled during the term, Walker was arguably their standout performer, blessed with tremendous pace and energy. Predominantly a right-sider, the player’s versatility means he can play on either flank.

George previously progressed through the youth ranks at Millwall, where he was a mainstay in their U21s side prior to his switch to Hastings.
