THE Jimmy Shan era gets underway at Harriers on Saturday with the visit of Boston United to Aggborough.
Shan was appointed Interim boss at the club on Friday and, having taken training that morning, goes straight into the dugout this weekend.
He will be faced with a tough start - the Pilgrims have been going great guns in both league and Cup action this season.
Kick-off at Aggborough on Saturday is at 3:00pm.
New boss Jimmy Shan on his first match:
"I am looking forward to it.
"I thrust myself straight into it on the training ground today and met the relevant people and the players on the pitch.
"It is always nice to get to get straight involved and I am looking forward to my first game here tomorrow.
"I am quite familiar with a number of the players and have coached three or four of them, [and] I have watched the previous two games and got myself a nice feel for the playing squad, and what they're about."
Team news
Harriers will assess the fitness of Ed Williams and Milan Butterfield going into the game.
Williams came off after just a few minutes of the draw with Gateshead, while Butterfield has been struggling with a shoulder complaint.

The opposition eye...
Craig Elliott’s side have been steadily improving in recent seasons and are having quite the campaign thus far.
With eight wins to their name in National League North thus far, they sit handily placed inside the play-off places.
Somewhat tellingly, they also have two games in hand on some of their rivals, victories in which could move them as high as third.
What’s more, they’ve also made excellent progress in the Emirates FA Cup. Thanks to a Second Round draw at EFL side Rochdale, they’re a replay win away from the Third Round and a dream date against Premier League Newcastle.
Do I know you?
Drewe Broughton, a striker from Harriers' EFL days, is among the names to have featured for both the Reds and Boston United.
Dom Knowles, Adam Boyes, Simon Weaver, Mike Marsh, Mani Dieseruvwe, Cieron Keane, Ben Davies, Tyrell Waite and Tom Bennett are all also former names to have donned both jerseys.
Head-to-Head
Harriers and Boston will meet for the 44th time in all competitions tomorrow, with the first being all the way back in 1959, a 1-1 Aggborough draw.
Since then, there have been numerous goal-filled matches across all manner of different leagues up until the last, most recent meeting in January, which saw Boston win 2-1 at Aggborough in a league contest.

Some for the fact fans...
Boston United are one of just a handful of teams to have faced Harriers in both non-league and the Football League.
The Pilgrims and the Reds met in all of what are/were the Southern League, National League, League 2, and National League North.
