We look ahead to Saturday’s home clash with Curzon Ashton…

HARRIERS won’t be getting too excited by their recent run of form ahead of Saturday’s game with Curzon Ashton, according to striker Amari Morgan-Smith.
The Reds have steadily maintained consistency in recent weeks with a strong return of points after defeat to Chester on the opening day of the league term.
A relentless run of games continues this coming weekend with the visit of the Nash, which is the second of three straight home games for Russ Penn’s men.
While they approach the game in a positive position in the table, there is no cause or room for complacency, says Morgan-Smith, who is acutely aware that National League North can bite any team on the backside if they let standards slip.
The former Luton Town man knows there’s a good feeling in the camp just now, but sounded a warning.
“You can feel it,” he said. there’s a good vibe at the minute – obviously when you are winning games its good.
“But we are not going to get complacent or carried away because I know how cruel this league can be.
“We need to stay nice and alert and make sure we dont get ahead of ourselves, and take every game as it comes.”
Hard work is seemingly the basis for Harriers’ recent form, and no player encapsulates that more than the 31-year-old.

Tireless up top, he opened his account for the season against Brackley recently, and continues to lead the line and set the example.
He went on to say: “That comes right through from the management staff, they reiterate how hard we have to work first and foremost, and the rewards will come.
“At the moment it is going well so long may that continue.”
Curzon are the visitors on Saturday, then, with Steve Cunningham’s men looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Leamington last weekend.
They’ve been the only side to beat title-chasing AFC Fylde this season so will come to Aggborough with threats aplenty.
Morgan-Smith added: “We know that they’re a good footballing side, their home ground is nice and the surface is nice to play on.
“They’ll try and implement our style but it is all about us and, first and foremost, let them worry about us and hopefully we can take it to them.”
Boss Russ Penn should hopefully have a fully-fit squad to choose from for Saturday’s game.
Jim Kellermann is once again available after serving his three-match suspension.
Kick-off at Aggborough is 3:00pm.
